Sometimes there is a fine line between exciting and stupid. And the attribute to help one decide is something many young males don’t have and that is experience.
Once the growth chemicals start flowing within a young male’s body they often override what we call common sense. This manifests itself via
Crude language
Obsessed with certain parts of their body
Over estimation of their abilities
Excessive confrontational behaviour
Erratic mood swings
These attributes can manifest in their driving habits such as
A dislike of any other vehicle passing them
Driving in excess of the speed limit
Driving too fast for the road conditions at the time
Travelling to close to a vehicle in front of them which won’t quickly enough let them pass.
Driving when drunk or under the influence of drugs.
Weaving in and out of traffic lanes
Easily distracted while driving
All of which heightens the possibility of an accident happening.
Driving like many things in life where you may get away with poor judgement for a considerable length of time but when it catches up with you it can have a deadly consequence.
These growth chemicals and the associated behaviour can also have positive outcomes such as
Creates great sportsmen particularly in contact sports such as Rugby, Aussie rules etc
Can make them exciting and stimulating people to be associated with.
Love parties
Clowning around
Drives them to challenge the boundaries on what can be achieved
Creates great soldiers
Great racing car drivers.
Great fighter pilots. (In the Second World War mainly young men flew the fighters with the older steadier type flying the bombers.)
Ultimately the vast majority get through this stage in their life and go on to become
Great husbands
Great fathers
Doctors
Judges
Scientists
Mathematicians
